Auditor Galloway releases monthly report on local government finances

06/21/2017

Missouri State Auditor Nicole Galloway today issued the State Auditor's monthly report detailing local government compliance with financial reporting laws. Cities, towns and villages in Missouri are required to file annual financial reports with the State Auditor's Office within six months of the end of their fiscal year.

Only two Missouri cities were required to submit financial reports to the State Auditor's Office in May: Florissant in St. Louis County and Mayview in Lafayette County. Both cities submitted the information on time.

This report also includes information on other local governments that submitted late financial reports or other related documents to the State Auditor's Office in May. Local governments are sorted by county in the report.

Reports received are searchable online. The complete report is available online here.
