Missouri State Auditor Nicole Galloway announced today that her office has launched an audit of Oregon County, in southern Missouri.
The Oregon County audit is a regularly scheduled audit. The most recent audit of Oregon County was released in February 2013. The audit, which received an overall performance rating of "fair," identified concerns and recommendations for improvement in the offices of the sheriff and public administrator.
