Missouri State Auditor Nicole Galloway has announced her office has started a regularly scheduled audit of Maries County, located in central Missouri. The county received an overall performance rating of fair during its most recent audit in June of 2014.
"Government should be transparent to the citizens it serves," Auditor Galloway said. "I look forward to providing this independent review and I encourage anyone with information to contact my Whistleblower Hotline."
