Missouri State Auditor Nicole Galloway will present the results of an audit of the City of Sparta on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at 6:00 p.m. in the Sparta Middle School cafeteria. The audit covers finances and operations for the city, which is located about 25 miles southeast of Springfield, in Christian County. The audit was requested by residents of the city through a petition process that required 200 signatures. An audit of the Sparta municipal court was released in July.

Where: Sparta Middle School cafeteria, 217 Division St., Sparta, MO
The meeting is open to the public. The school is located at the corner of N. Oak and Division St., and the entrance is on the east end of the building.
